According to a report on Motociclismo, Honda has announced the availability of specific, prepare a song-Fireblades and CBR600RRs. Tweaked to the max and pared to the bone, this motor is currently only available in Japan, though Honda may also sell in other markets later on.
CBR600 modifications include fitment of new fork springs and shock absorbers and racing exhaust, and the elimination of anything that does not help make the bike faster. The Fireblade get a close-ratio gearbox, a more powerful, higher revving engines of new cams and valves, fully customized high spec suspension, an HRC clutch kit and, of course, lap timer. High travel in the rear can be adjusted, and to keep your weight down, Honda even has discarded catalytic converter, because this bike is intended only for track use.
This song-specific Fireblades and CBR600RRs apparently intended for race teams and individuals who do not use their bikes outside the racetrack. No word on whether these special songs will be available outside Japan.
